R. Eric Lopez

Mr. Lopez is a founding partner at Lopez & Sercely.  He is a born and bred Texan, who has practiced law in Texas since 2006.  Until the founding of Lopez & Sercely, Mr. Lopez was the head of the personal injury pre-litigation department at another firm. He is also fluent in Spanish.

He attended the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and then received his law degree from Texas Wesleyan in 2006.

Matthew Sercely

Mr. Sercely is a founding partner at Lopez & Sercely.  He has lived in the Dallas Metroplex since 1994, except for two and half years attending law school in Michigan.

He attended the University of Dallas where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Concentration in Computer Science, then attended Ave Maria School of Law where he received his legal degree in 2009.
